Councilmember Stewart introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-091 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2026 NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #26-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous street <br />segments in 2026 as identified within the 2026 – 2035 Capital Improvement Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-082, adopted April 22, <br />2025, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk for topographic <br />survey of the project area in the amount of $1,268.50; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-125, adopted June 24, <br />2025, the Ramsey City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-08; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-011, adopted January 13, <br />2026, the Ramsey City Council ordered request for proposals for Engineering Design Services for <br />said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-039, adopted February 10, <br />2026, the Ramsey City Council accepted a proposal from Bolton & Menk, Inc. to prepare final <br />plans and specifications for 2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement <br />Project #26-08 for the not-to-exceed amount of $25,300.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose <br />of advertising for bids for 2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement <br />Project #26-08. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton <br />& Menk, Inc. and authorizes advertisement for bids for 2026 Neighborhood Pavement <br />Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #26-08. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />
