<br />CASE # 3 <br /> <br />WETLAND FUNCTIONS & VALUES FINAL REPORT <br />By: Chris Anderson, Environmental Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you know, Westwood Professional Services (WPS) has been working on the wetland <br />functions and values study over the past year or so. Representatives from WPS attended the <br />December EPB meeting to update the Board on the status of the project and to receive any <br />preliminary comments. The report and associated tables and maps are now near completion. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />During the QA/QC review of the wetland values, WPS encountered some discrepancies between <br />certain numbers. WPS is working with BWSR to resolve this issue so that the data is accurately <br />reflected in the report and database. WPS has provided a draft report to Staff but cautioned that, <br />dependent on how the discrepancies with MnRAM 3.0 are resolved, some of the data may be <br />subject to change. Upon resolution, WPS will update all data tables, complete exhibits 4-15, and <br />provide a summary discussion of wetlands that changed classifications after field inspections <br />were completed. <br /> <br />The draft report, in one form or another, will be available for review at the meeting. <br /> <br />EPB Action <br /> <br />Based on discussion. <br /> <br />EPB: 2/5/07 <br />
