Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: • <br />RESOLUTION # <br />AUTHORIZATION_ TO BIRE A <br />UTILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, as part of the 2007 budget, the City Council authorized the creation <br />of a new utilities maintenance worker position, and <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted and five applicants <br />were interviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Grant authorization to staff to hire Jeff Erickson as the City's new utilities maintenance <br />worker, effective February 28, 2007, at an hourly wage of $17.01. All other personnel <br />polices will apply normally. • <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13 day of February 2007. <br />• <br />-238— <br />
