• <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Co uncilmember Jeffrey, to forward review and <br />adoption of the 2007 Tax Levy and General Fund Budget to the full Council without a <br />recommendation. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig and Jeffrey. <br />Voting No: None. <br />Case #2: Review and Adopt 2007 EDA Levy <br />Finance Officer Lund advised the EDA levy is included in the General Fund Levy. The Council <br />accepted the EDA's recommendation and adopted the $393,375 EDA levy at the September 11, <br />2006 City Council meeting. <br />Motion- by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to recommend that the <br />City Council adopt the resolution adopting the 2006 payable 2007 EDA Tax Levy. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig and Jeffrey. <br />Voting No: None. <br />Case #3: Review and Adopt 2007 HRA Levy <br />Finance Officer Lund advised the HRA authorized a levy of $312,443 at the August 22, 2006 • <br />HRA meeting. As the entire -Council serves as the HRA Board of Commissioners, tonight's <br />adoption is to reconfirm the HRA levy adopted in August. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to recommend that the <br />City Council adopt the resolution adopting the 2006, payable 2007 HRA tax levy in the amount <br />of $312,443. <br />L <br />Motion carried.
