• CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a Work Session on Thursday, December 21, 2006, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen . <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief James Way <br />• Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Councilmember Elect Matt Look <br />Jodi Ruehle, The Tinklenberg Group <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:46 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />City Administrator Norman stated he had wanted to cover a couple of topics even though there <br />was only one item on the agenda, but time would not permit due to the time delay in obtaining a <br />quorum for the work session. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Northwest Metro Corridor Property Acquisition <br />City Administrator Norman provided a copy of a memo from Ms. Jodi Ruehle, The Tinklenberg <br />Group, regarding the Larry and Mary Boike property, located in the future Northwest River <br />Crossing corridor right -of -way. <br />Ms. Ruehle, representing The Tinklenberg Group, stated she has been working with Mr. Boike <br />i Mn/DOT , , and the Metropolitan Council since meeting with the Finance Committee in September <br />City Council Work Session / December 21, 2006 <br />Page 1 of 6 <br />—91— <br />
