Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO <br />EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH AN EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey issued an RFP for executive search firms to assist <br />with the recruitment and selection of a new city administrator; and <br />WHEREAS, ten proposals were received by the City of Ramsey and four executive <br />search firms were interviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council would like to hire the Waters Consulting Group to <br />assist the City of Ramsey with the recruitment and selection of a new city administrator. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the City Council to do the following: <br />Authorize staff to execute a contract for executive search services with the Waters Consulting <br />Group contingent upon the acceptance by the Waters Group of the amendments proposed by the <br />City Council and listed in the addendum attached to this resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13 day of February 2007. <br />• Page 3 <br />
