These <br />scholarships are available to graduating high <br />school seniors in any school setting who are <br />Ramsey residents. <br />Please submit the following <br />information by March 20, 2000 to: Ramsey <br />Women of Today, P.O. Box 934, Ramsey, MN <br />55303. For questions, call Mary Jo at <br />763-427-8340. <br /> <br />The Anoka County Extension Study <br />Groups will be awarding one $400 scholarship <br />this year for a youth or an adult who is planning <br />to complete a degree in Family and Consumer <br />Sciences. One scholarship will be given to a <br />high school senior or an adult who meets the <br />following criteria: <br /> <br />. Is an Anoka County resident <br />. Is pursuing a four-year degree in Family <br />and Consumer Sciences, including areas <br />such as food and nutrition, interior design, <br />family and child development, family <br />relations, family finance management, <br />clothing, textiles, housing, or family and <br />consumer science education. <br />To receive an application form, <br />contact the Anol(a County Extension Service <br />at 763-755-1280. The Adventure <br />Walk will be installed and ready to be challenged when we open for the <br />2000 season. This new feature consists of a group of floating pads spaced <br />out under a cargo net which should be challenging to try to cross. Weather <br />permitting, we should be ready to open for Memorial weel(end. <br />Season passes will go on sale April 3, 2000, for residents. <br />Non-resident passes can be purchased starting May 1, 2000. Resident <br />passes need to be used only six times and they start saving you money( 6 <br />visits x $5.50(daily rate) == $33.00 and the cost of a resident pass is only <br />$32.00). The passes need to be purchased at the Anoka Parks and Golf <br />Maintenance Building located at 641 Jacob Lane, behind Pizza Hut off <br />Highway 10. The Parks Department is open Monday through Friday 7:30 <br />AM to 4:00 PM for the purchase of season passes. Additional evening and <br />weekend hours may be available later in the spring.
