<br />2 <br /> <br />@) <br /> <br />TREE CI1Y USAlI <br /> <br />RAMSEY TREE <br /> <br />& PLANT SALE <br />Local Green <br />Business Expo <br /> <br />It's Spring; It's Arbor Day; <br />Must Be Time to Plant! <br /> <br />This year, 10 local, licensed, and <br />inspected nurseries will be bring trees, <br />shrubs, berries, ornamental plantings, <br />flowers, and vegetables sets for sale. <br />Shade trees and conifers of various sizes, <br />both bare root and potted, will also be <br />available for sale from $5.00 to $100.00. <br />The shade tree varieties that will be for <br />sale include Gingko, Hacl(berry, Linden, <br />Oak, Maples, Cottonwood, Norway and <br />White pines, spruce, crabapples, variety <br />apples, pie and sand cherry trees. Other <br />plants that will be featured are blueberry <br />bushes, raspberry canes, strawberries, and <br />plum trees. Seedlings, potted plants, and <br />bare root plants will be priced from $5.00 <br />to $50.00. <br />Green Valley Greenhouse will be <br />at the Expo again this year with flowers <br />and hanging basl(ets; Anoka Ramsey Farm <br />and Garden will have vegetable plantings; <br />and the Boy Scout Troop 362, with Jenny <br />Penfield, will be selling perennial plants. <br />The Master Gardeners, Ramsey <br />Shademakers, Volunteer Tree Board, and <br />scouts will again be bagging seedlings in <br />compost for ease of planting. The <br />Minnesota DNR Forest Nursery, with Art <br />Widerstrom, our Metro District Forester, <br />will again be providing free Arbor Day <br />seedlings.
