School Readiness Pre- <br />school offers preschool classes beginning in September and ending in May. The <br />preschool classes are held two or three days a week with a choice of morning or <br />afternoon sessions. Openings remain in classes for children who will be four <br />years old on or before September 1, 2000. Fee assistance is available based on <br />family size and income. <br />School Readiness Preschool classes are designed to help children become <br />enthusiastic about learning and prepare for kindergarten. At School Readiness <br />Preschool children strengthen their social skills through play with other children. <br />Active hands-on play also provides the foundation for intellectual development. <br />The daily schedule offers large group activities, small group activities, snacl( time, <br />and choice time at learning centers.
