TOWN CENTER <br />TASK FORCE <br />The Town Center Task Force Center was recently <br />appointed by City Council to provde input and <br />recommendations to the City Council regarding the <br />development of a Town Center, located along Highway 10 <br />between Ramsey Boulevard and Armstrong Boulevard in <br />Ramsey. The Task Force meets on the 2nd and 4th <br />Thursdays of the month at 3:30 p.m. at Ramsey City Hall. <br />If you wish to talk with the members of the Task Force, <br />public input is received during the regular meeting on the <br />4th Tuesday, at 4:30 p.m. The members of the Task Force <br />are Dave Elvig, Alena Hunter, Don Kveton, Al Pearson, <br />Bonnie Thompson, Eric Watson, and Christopher Riley. <br />Enclosed in this newsletter, you will find a survey regarding <br />the Town Center. The Task Force is seeking input from <br />the residents ofRasmey regarding the potential retail, office, <br />and residential uses of the site. Police officers, fire fighters <br />and city officials will be out visiting neighborhoods. There <br />will be numerous neighborhood parties ranging from dessert <br />parties to contests. <br />National Night Out is designed to: <br />Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. <br />Generate support for, and participation in, local anti - <br />crime programs. <br />Strengthen neighborhood and police community <br />partnerships. <br />Send a message to criminals letting them know that <br />neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. <br />If you would like to host a block party and be <br />included in visits from the police and fire departments, please <br />contact the Ramsey Police Department to complete the <br />registration form by July 15th.. After your registration has <br />been received, we will send follow -up information for you <br />to begin planning your event. <br />New registrants will receive FREE picnic packs <br />for their event this year!
