After the program, we all went back to City Hall for a wonderful <br />potluck lunch and a short business meeting. It was decided that we should <br />bring either a toy or food item to the next meeting and that someone from <br />Toys for Tots will pick them up for us. It was then decided that the Club <br />Officers would remain the same for next year. Please note that the Seniors <br />Club meets on the First Wednesday of the month except for January, which <br />will be the second Wednesday. <br />Zola Malamen <br />President <br />PRESCHOOL OPENINGS <br />AT DiSTRICT #11 RAMSEY SCHOOL READINESS <br />The Anoka- Hennepin School Readiness Preschool Program has openings <br />for 4 -5 year olds at the Ramsey Preschool located in the Rum River Plaza at 6010 <br />167th Avenue NW. Preschool classes are held two or three days a week with a <br />choice of morning or afternoon sessions. <br />School Readiness Preschool classes are designed to help children become <br />enthusiastic about learning and prepare for kindergarten. The daily schedule offers <br />large and small group activities, snack time and choice time at learning centers. <br />Children must be at least four years old on or before September 1, 2002. <br />Parents provide transportation to preschool. Fee assistance is available based on <br />family size and income.
