CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />05/12/2026 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Promote economic growth and development. <br />5. 11. <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #26-104 Approving an Encroachment Agreement for a Sign at Rivenwick Village 4th <br />Addition. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />In 2022, the plans for Rivenwick Village 4th Addition, a 27-unit townhome development, were approved and <br />units are currently under construction. The developer, LGI Homes, is requesting approval to construct a <br />neighborhood monument sign on the common area near the intersection of Riverdale Drive and 139th Lane NW. <br />The common lot, Lot 28, was platted with a blanket drainage and utility easement covering it. Structures cannot <br />be constructed within these types of easements, typically. The encroachment agreement would allow the <br />homeowners' association to have and maintain the sign in the proposed location, provided that it does not interfere <br />with public or private utilities. <br />The proposed agreement is standard in form and has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
