ORDINANCE #26-10 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RAMSEY TO <br />SELL/CONVEY PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br />It is the purpose of this Ordinance to authorize the City of Ramsey to convey certain real <br />property which the City Council has determined is no longer necessary for the City's <br />purposes. This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of Section 12.5 of <br />the City Charter. <br />SECTION 3. SALE/CONVEYANCE AUTHORIZATION <br />The City Council hereby declares the following described real property currently owned by <br />the City, as surplus City owned land, no longer needed for current or future City functions or <br />Right of Way, and authorizes said property to be marketed for sale and conveyed/sold <br />pursuant to the authority in Minn. Stat. §412.211: <br />Property ID Address or Nearby Roadway Legal / General Description <br />27-32-25-41-0025 XXX Sunfish Lake Blvd NW Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 251 <br />SECTION 4. TERMS OF SALE/CONVEYANCE <br />The City Council shall establish sale/conveyance terms and conditions in the future, at the time of <br />purchase agreement negotiation, for each individual parcel identified in Section 2 of this Ordinance. <br />Due to the nature, size and location of the property, the City cannot market the property to the general <br />public; instead the property needs to be combined with an adjacent property. <br />SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, the 26th day of May, 2026 <br />
