There is currently one vacancy on the Planning
Commission. The primary objectives of the Planning Commission
are to advise the City Council on land use concerns and to serve as
the planning agency of the City.
Nothing more than an interest in the community and the
ability to commit your time by attending monthly meetings is
required. This is an excellent way to meet other residents and to
contribute in a very meaningful way to your community.
For additional information regarding the duties and
responsibilities of the Planning Commission, please call 763 -433-
9821. In order to be considered for a seat on the Planning
Commission, please submit a letter of interest to the Human
Resources Manager at City Hall, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW,
Ramsey, MN 55303, by September 15, 2003.
FALL
WATERMATh FLUSHING
IN OCTOBER
The Public Works Department will be doing their semi-
annual flushing of watermains and hydrants beginning Monday,
October 13th through Friday, October 24th. Please be aware that
this flushing, while it is necessary, will create a disturbance in the
system and may cause lower than normal water pressure and your
water to be discolored. Although the water may be discolored by
rust, it is fit for human consumption but it may stain clothes that are
being washed. To alleviate this problem, you may want to fill your
washer with water and check on its clarity before adding your
clothes. We appreciate your patience and regret any inconvenience
that this may cause.
SEPT/OCT ZOOS, VOLUME 18, No. 5
ROCKIN 1 N ROLLIN
AT RAMSEY HAPPY DAYS
FESTIVAL
The 5th Annual Happy Days Festival will
be held on Friday, September 12th and
Saturday, September 13th.
Kids will be Rockin with Twin City Sound
on Friday Night at the Teen Dance in the
Community Life Center at Lord of Life Church
from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This is for youth in 5th
- 8th grade.
