<br />Alcoholics Anonymous: Meets Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran

<br />ARC of Anoka and Ramsey Counties: Offers a network of support and
<br />information meetings for parents and grandparents of children with disabilities. Call
<br />Celeste at 763 - 783 -4958.
<br />Become a Family Mentor: A Family Mentor can be the person who develops
<br />a caring and trusting relationship with parents, while assisting them in connecting with
<br />community resources. Volunteers will be matched with a family based on location, interests
<br />and needs. Family Mentors receive a free 16 -hour professional training session before
<br />being connected with a family. For more information and the next training dates, call the

<br />Free Breast Cancer Screening: Is available for qualifying women who
<br />are over 40, meet the income requirements, and have no insurance to cover the cost of

<br />Cancer Conquerors: Support session will be held on the 1st and 3rd

<br />Celebrate Recovery: Meets Sunday - 5:00 p.m. Meal, 6:00 p.m. Service, 7:00

<br />Grief Group: Support group meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays

<br />Healthy Start: Needs volunteer Family Mentors to identify and work with

<br />Long Term Care Insurance and assistance filing insurance claims. For appointment, call

<br />Volunteer Program (RSVP).
<br />Kinship: Matches young people, ages 5 to 15, with adult volunteers, individuals,
<br />couples, and families, they can trust, talk to and spend time with. Call 763 - 767 -6497.
<br />Licensed Day Care Referrals: Throughout Anoka County can be obtained

<br />Life Counceling Center: Hours available most days. For counciling

<br />Meals on Wheels: To request assistance or volunteer as a delivery driver,

<br />Mediation Services: For Anoka County, offers a way to work through
<br />disputes using positive and respectful skills. Mediation is free or offered at a modest fee.

<br />Moms In Touch: Meets

<br />Muscular Dystrophy Support
<br />Group: Meets the 4th Tuesday of the
<br />month at 7:00 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran
<br />Church, 14501 Nowthen Boulevard NW,
<br />Ramsey.
<br />North Metro Moms Club: A
<br />group of at -home moms and their children,
<br />has weekly outings, activity groups,
<br />monthly newsletters, playgroups, and
<br />mom's night out. Annual fee is $25, which
<br />can be reduced or waived if needed. Visitors
<br />are welcome to attend a month's worth of
<br />activities before deciding to join. Call

<br />Nutrition Program: Newly
<br />expanded guidelines will allow pregnant/
<br />nursing women, infants and children up to
<br />age five to participate in the Anoka County
<br />Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for
<br />Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Call
<br />the Anoka County WIC Program at 763 -422-
<br />7055 to apply and find out about WIC
<br />locations.
<br />Parent Support Network:
<br />First three Tuesdays every month from 7:00
<br />to 8:30 p.m. at Human Services Building, 1201
