' - Summer is just around the comer and it's time to purchasing your 2004 Anoka Aquatic Center season pass! Weather permitting, the pool will open Memorial weekend. Pass holders receive priority admission for open swim, so there is no need to wait in the general admission lines. NEW for 2004: Season passes will be offered at a reduced rate to children under 42" tall. Residents of Ramsey will receive resident rate for season passes and swim lessons with proof of residency. Season passes can be purchased at the Anoka Parl(s and Golf Maintenance Building located at 641 Jacob Lane, behind Pizza Hut off of Highway 10. Season passes are available for purchase Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Season pass registration forms and swim lesson information is available on the City of Anoka web page at www.ci.anoka.mn.us. The lights must be on while in operation on a trunk, state aid, or county highway or when crossing a public road right of way, one-half hour after sunset to on-half hour before sunrise or in conditions of reduced visibility. You must wear eye protection when operating an OHM. Off-road motorcycles cannot be operated in ditches. You may not operate an OHM within a public road right-of-way unless it is a trail designated for OHM use, a corridor access trail, a designated access to an established OHM trail, or allowed for an organized contest. Disturbing the Peace City Ordinance declares it a nuisance if a person mal(es or assists in mal(ing a noise or any loud, unnecessary or unusual sound or any sound which annoys, disturbs or affects the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. It is also considered a nuisance to operate a recreational vehicle that causes any noise, unless the noise is muffled and the engine is equipped with a muffler device sufficient to deaden and prevent such noise, so that it does not interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE Please note that the Park and Recreation Commission meeting will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the locations listed below for the next six months: May 13th - Woodland Park June 10th - Fire Station I - Joint meeting with Council (date may change) July 8th - Solstice Parl( August 12th - Flintwood Terrace September 9th - Alpine October 14th - Ramsey Town Center South Parl( The meetings will be held at Fire Station I in case of inclement weather.
