' - <br /> <br />Summer is just around the comer and it's time to purchasing <br />your 2004 Anoka Aquatic Center season pass! Weather permitting, <br />the pool will open Memorial weekend. Pass holders receive priority <br />admission for open swim, so there is no need to wait in the general <br />admission lines. NEW for 2004: Season passes will be offered at a <br />reduced rate to children under 42" tall. Residents of Ramsey will <br />receive resident rate for season passes and swim lessons with <br />proof of residency. <br />Season passes can be purchased at the Anoka Parl(s and Golf <br />Maintenance Building located at 641 Jacob Lane, behind Pizza Hut off <br />of Highway 10. Season passes are available for purchase Monday <br />through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Season pass registration <br />forms and swim lesson information is available on the City of Anoka <br />web page at www.ci.anoka.mn.us. The <br />lights must be on while in operation on a trunk, <br />state aid, or county highway or when crossing a <br />public road right of way, one-half hour after <br />sunset to on-half hour before sunrise or in <br />conditions of reduced visibility. <br />You must wear eye protection when <br />operating an OHM. <br />Off-road motorcycles cannot be <br />operated in ditches. You may not operate an <br />OHM within a public road right-of-way unless it <br />is a trail designated for OHM use, a corridor <br />access trail, a designated access to an established <br />OHM trail, or allowed for an organized contest. <br /> <br />Disturbing the Peace <br />City Ordinance declares it a nuisance if <br />a person mal(es or assists in mal(ing a noise or <br />any loud, unnecessary or unusual sound or any <br />sound which annoys, disturbs or affects the <br />comfortable enjoyment of life or property. It is <br />also considered a nuisance to operate a <br />recreational vehicle that causes any noise, unless <br />the noise is muffled and the engine is equipped <br />with a muffler device sufficient to deaden and <br />prevent such noise, so that it does not interfere <br />with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION <br />MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Please note that the Park and Recreation <br />Commission meeting will meet at 6:30 p.m. at <br />the locations listed below for the next six months: <br />May 13th - Woodland Park <br />June 10th - Fire Station I - Joint meeting <br />with Council (date may change) <br />July 8th - Solstice Parl( <br />August 12th - Flintwood Terrace <br />September 9th - Alpine <br />October 14th - Ramsey Town Center <br />South Parl( <br />The meetings will be held at Fire Station <br />I in case of inclement weather. <br /> <br />I've learned. . .
