Friday, <br />September 17th and Saturday, September 18th. <br />Once again the festival willl(icl( off on Friday, September 17th with a <br />Teen Dance held at Lord of Life Church from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00p.m. A <br />rocl(in' DJ will be on hand and great prizes will be given away following the <br />dance. Admission is $2.00 per person. This dance is for students in 5th - 8th <br />grades. For more information contact Teen Dance Chairperson, Des Haspert <br />at 763-421-1568. <br />Saturday events include a Car Show, Craft Show, Dog Pull and <br />Threshing Exhibit all beginning at 10:00am on the Ramsey City Hall <br />Campus. Food vendors will be on hand throughout the day. Kid's old fashioned <br />games will be held from 11 :00 a.m. -1 :OOpm. on the Ramsey City Hall campus. <br />New to Happy Days this year is a Photo Contest. Photo Contest rules are <br />available on the City of Ramsey website or at City Hall. Photo contest entries <br />will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on September 15,2004. Photography categories <br />are Furry and Feathered Friends, Landscapes, and Vintage Ramsey (circa 1974). <br />For more information regarding the Photo Contest, please contact Heidi Nelson <br />at 763-433-9817. <br />The Connexus Kid's Fun Run will be held at 1:00p.m. and the 5K <br />Race will be held at 1:30p.m. Both events will start and end at City Hall this <br />year. Registration forms for the 5K race are available on-line at <br />www.ci.ramsey.mn.us or at City Hall. <br />This year's Parade promises to be bigger and better than ever. It starts <br />at 3:00pm and runs from Sunwood Drive to Alpine Drive going north on County <br />Road 5. Watch for road detours along the parade route. <br />Evening events begin with a BBQ by the Ramsey Lions, Karaol(e on <br />stage from 5:30 p.m. - 6:45pm with the Street Dance beginning at 7:00pm <br />featuring The Rockin Hollywoods. Door Prizes will be given out throughout <br />the evening with the Cash Grand Prize Drawing held at the end of the evening. <br />The Ramsey Rotary will be drawing for their ATV Raffle during the evening <br />street dance as well. <br />Please join us in celebrating 30 years for our great city!! <br />See Happy Days schedule of events on page 3. <br />www.cLramsey.mn.us <br /> <br /> <br />REMEMBER <br />TO VOTE IN THE <br />PRIMARY <br /> <br />The Primary Election is scheduled for <br />Tuesday" September 14" 2004.
