RAMSEY OUTSTANDING <br />VOLUNTEER NOMINATION FORM <br />S&P P.1 <br />Do you know someone in our community who has gone <br />above and beyond for the Ramsey community? <br />Do you know someone who is always doing for others or <br />volunteering their time? <br />Here is your opportunity to honor them for all they have <br />done. If you are an amateur photo <br />enthusiast, this is your chance! The City of Ramsey Happy Days <br />Festival is having its 2 Annual Photo contest. The categories are <br />as follows. <br />Furry and Feathers Friends: Capture a pose that will <br />include wild animals, birds etc. <br />Landscapes: Capture the natural beauty, colors or geologic <br />interest of the City of Ramsey. <br />Vintage: Pictures of historical Ramsey. <br />Rules and dates will be posted shortly on the City <br />website. <br />If you have questions please contact Heidi Nelson at <br />763 - 433 -9817. <br />There's a fine line between courage and foolishness. <br />SPONSORSHIP <br />OPPORTUNITIES <br />FOR HAPPY DAYS! <br />Corporate and General Sponsorships are <br />available for this year's Happy Days Event! <br />Corporate sponsorships are for contributions of <br />$1000 and greater and include benefits of exclusive <br />sponsorship of an event, a 5'X 10' banner <br />displayed at the event and to carry in the parade if <br />you choose, a sponsorship plaque to display at your <br />business, your corporate logo on all advertising sent <br />to over 10,000 households and businesses in the <br />Ramsey /Anoka area, and a prime spot in the <br />parade line -up viewed by thousands of spectators. <br />General sponsorships are for contributions of $500- <br />$999 and include benefits of community exposure <br />and recognition, a 3'X 5' banner displayed at the <br />event and to carry in the parade if you choose, <br />and your business name on all advertising sent to <br />over 10,000 households and businesses in the <br />Ramsey /Anoka area. This year the events are <br />scheduled for Friday, September 16th (Teen <br />Dance at Lord of Life Church) and Saturday, <br />September 17th. Saturday's events include the craft <br />fair, car show, kids games and entertainment, parade <br />and evening street dance featuring The Johnny <br />Holm Band! The schedule for Saturday's events <br />will be included in summer newsletters as well as <br />posted around town at local businesses. Registration <br />forms for the craft fair and car show are on page 5 <br />and the parade registration form is posted on the <br />city's website at www.ci.ramsey.mn.us or available <br />at City Hall.
