If the barrel is too full, the cover cannot be closed. If your barrel is
consistently too full, you may wish to contact your trash hauler to find out about
getting a larger barrel to prevent this from happening. It has been reported that
there are a lot of recyclables blowing around from recycling containers also. There
are no covers for these bins; therefore, if you place the heavier items on the top, it
may prevent the papers and plastic jugs from be strewn about. Please make sure
your trash and recycling are secure when you place it out for pick -up. If you notice
scattered trash/recyclables, please pick it up. If everyone pitches in, it will make a
huge difference. Please help. Thank you.
RAMSEY SENIOR NEWS
The Ramsey Senior Club held their monthly meeting in April with 36 members
present. A discussion relating to program ideas took place following the usual terrific
tasting pot luck lunch. The Larson's played and sang some good old familiar songs
for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. They did not accept payment, telling us instead
to put the money back in the program fund. We extend a huge thank you to them.
Next month Darbin Nelson will entertain us with slides from one of his trips.
In June, we will enjoy the musical talent of a couple of gentlemen.
Thank you to all who help out. The Senior's Club has been going strong
since December 1982. The Senior's Club meets at Ramsey City Hall the first
Wednesday of the month in the lower level of City Hall.
Zola Malamen, President
Ramsey Resident
Ramsey Municipal Center
15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW
Ramsey, MN 55303
PRSORT STD
U.S. POSTAGE PAID
ANOKA, MN
5,5303
PEamrr No. 131
POSTAL CUSTOMER
