~

Community News

Ramsey Seniors

The Ramsey Seniors held their
last meeting of the year on December
7, Pearl Harbor Day. We were hon-
ored to have a gentleman with us
who was at Pearl Harbor on that day
in 1944. We celebrated Christmas by
collecting food and gifts for Toys for
Joy. It was determined that the
Officers would remain the same for
2006.
We will be playing penny bingo
at our January 4 meeting, so bring

your pennies!
We are always looking for new
ideas for programs and upcoming
meetings and would appreciate your
input. We extend an invitation to
other seniors who would like to join
our meetings; all we ask is that you
bring a delicious dish to share for
lunch. We meet on the first
Wednesday of each month at Ramsey
City Hall.
Zola Malamen, President

Free Dollars Into Sense Classes

Anoka County Extension
Service Staff and Dollar Works
Volunteers will present Free Dollars
Into Sense classes on January 17, and
February 21, 10:00 am at the Bunker
Hills Activities Center (550 Bunker
Lake Blvd, Andover) and again at
7:00 pm at the Northtown Library
(711 County Rd lONE, Blaine).
To register, call the University
of Minnesota Extension Service,
Anoka County, at 763-755-1280 at

least three days prior to the class you
wish to attend.
