PFOA has been used to make carpets, leathers, textiles, fabrics <br />for furniture, paper packaging, and other materials that are <br />resistant to water, grease, or stains. It is also used in <br />firefighting foams at airfields. Many of these uses are <br />being phased out by U.S. manufacturers; however, there are <br />Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) still some ongoing uses. <br />Permethrin It is an insecticide. <br />Profenofos It is an insecticide and an acaricide. <br />It is a component of coal tars and used in the production of <br />Quinoline other substances, and as a pharmaceutical (anti -malarial). <br />RDX(Hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine) It is an explosive. <br />It is used as a solvent for coatings in organic synthesis, as a <br />sec-Butylbenzene plasticizer and in surfactants. <br />Tebuconazole It is a fungicide. <br />Tebufenozide It is insecticide. <br />It is a naturally -occurring element and is commonly used as <br />Tellurium sodium tellurite in bacteriology and medicine. <br />Thiodicarb It is an insecticide. <br />Thiophanate-methyl It is a fungicide. <br />Toluene diisocyanate It is used in the manufacturing of plastics. <br />Tribufos It is an insecticide and used as a cotton defoliant. <br />It is used in the production of other substances, as a stabilizer <br />in herbicides and pesticides, in consumer products, in <br />Triethylamine photographic chemicals and in carpet cleaners. <br />Triphenyltin hydroxide (TPTH) It is a pesticide. <br />Urethane It is a paint and coating ingredient (polyurethanes). <br />It is a naturally -occurring element.
