Real Solutions. <br />April 29, 2026 <br />Joe Feriancek, P.E. <br />Assistant City Engineer <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />7533 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Suite 206 <br />Ramsey, MN 55303-5119 <br />Ph: (763) 433-2851 <br />Fax: (763) 427-0833 <br />Bolton-Menk.com <br />RE: Proposal for Construction Staking Services, 2026 Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements <br />(City Project No. 26-08) <br />Dear Mr. Feriancek: <br />We appreciate the opportunity to assist the City of Ramsey with construction staking for the 2026 <br />Neighborhood Pavement Overlay Improvements (City Project No. 26-08). <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Bolton & Menk will complete the following survey related tasks associated with the project: <br />• Check and Re-establish Horizontal and Vertical Control, <br />• Create Stakeout Files, <br />• Stake Concrete Curb and Gutter Removals at Eight to Ten Pedestrian Ramp Locations, <br />• Stake Concrete Curb and Gutter for Pedestrian Ramp Install, and <br />• Stake Concrete Curb and Gutter for Uranium Street Cul-de-Sac. <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />We have made the following assumptions in preparing this proposal: <br />• No allowance is included for staking clearing, construction limits, or right-of-way. <br />• Replacing damaged or removed stakes is not included in our base fee. <br />• No additional fees for stakes, mileage, equipment, etc. will be invoiced to the City, but are <br />included in our hourly rates. <br />• Additional services, if required, will be performed at the rates presented in the Proposed Fees <br />section of this proposal. <br />• City staff will facilitate all construction administration related tasks. <br />PROPOSED FEES <br />Bolton & Menk proposes to perform the staking based on a not -to -exceed amount, based on the rates <br />presented in the table on the following page: <br />
