Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-126 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE; MILLE LACS <br />MOTOR SPORTS II INC <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the "Tenant") has leased indoor and outside <br />storage space located at 6781 and 6745 Hwy 10 NW and depicted as "Area A, B, C, D and E" (the <br />"Lease Space") on the attached lease agreement dated May 28, 2025 for several years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the "Tenant") entered into the First <br />Amendment to Lease on January 27, 2026 for outside storage space adjacent to 6781 Hwy 10 NW <br />and depicted as "Areas A and B (the "Lease Space"); and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has requested the City extend the lease <br />until August 31, 2026 to allow more time to secure a long term solution for Power Lodge here in <br />Ramsey to continue leasing Areas A and B depicted on Exhibit A of the Second Amendment to <br />Lease; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. (Power Lodge) has been a good tenant for <br />the duration of its previous leases with the City and it current lease ends on May 31, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached <br />Second Amendment to Lease ($1.50 / SF for outside storage) including but not limited to the <br />terms below: <br />Lease Term (June 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026): $4,625.00/month <br />WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of <br />State of Minnesota as of May 15, 2026. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Second Amendment to Lease with <br />Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
