Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #26-126 RESOLUTION APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT TO LEASE; MILLE LACS MOTOR SPORTS II INC WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the "Tenant") has leased indoor and outside storage space located at 6781 and 6745 Hwy 10 NW and depicted as "Area A, B, C, D and E" (the "Lease Space") on the attached lease agreement dated May 28, 2025 for several years; and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. (the "Tenant") entered into the First Amendment to Lease on January 27, 2026 for outside storage space adjacent to 6781 Hwy 10 NW and depicted as "Areas A and B (the "Lease Space"); and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has requested the City extend the lease until August 31, 2026 to allow more time to secure a long term solution for Power Lodge here in Ramsey to continue leasing Areas A and B depicted on Exhibit A of the Second Amendment to Lease; and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports, Inc. (Power Lodge) has been a good tenant for the duration of its previous leases with the City and it current lease ends on May 31, 2026; and WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. has agreed to the terms in the attached Second Amendment to Lease ($1.50 / SF for outside storage) including but not limited to the terms below: Lease Term (June 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026): $4,625.00/month WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc. is in Good Standing with the Secretary of State of Minnesota as of May 15, 2026. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Second Amendment to Lease with Mille Lacs Motor Sports II, Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
