<br />Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-352 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER RECLASSIFICATION OF SENIOR BUILDING <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITON TO BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Dan Bray has been employed with the City since August 21, 1989 and <br />is currently employed as Senior Building Maintenance Worker, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bray has been performing supervisory duties and with the recent hire of <br />a part-time Building Maintenance Worker his supervisory duties are fully functional and long <br />term; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the Senior Building Maintenance Worker <br />position be reclassified to Building Maintenance Supervisor effective November 14,2006, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the pay rate for the Building Maintenance <br />Supervisor be at $22.82 per hour. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Reclassify the Senior Building Maintenance Worker position to Building Maintenance <br />Supervisor effective November 14,2006. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
