<br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-11-367 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER RECLASSIFICATION OF THE ZONINGIRECYCLING <br />COORDINATOR POSITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Bacon, Environmental Specialist, is retiring from the City of <br />Ramsey after 29 years of service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bacon's resignation is effective December 8, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,. staff has conducted a thorough analysis of the Environmental Specialist and <br />the ZoninglRecyclihg Coordinator positions and staff is recommending that the <br />ZoninglRecycling Coordinator be reclassified to create the proposed Environmental Coordinator <br />position. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />a. Accept the resignation of Bruce Bacon, Environmental Specialist. <br />b. Reclassify the Zoning/Recycling Coordinator position to Environmental <br />Coordinator, effective December 9, 2006. <br />c. Set the wage for the Environmental Coordinator at $24.87/hour, which represents <br />an annual increase of $950.00. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
