<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Ryan Heineman <br />Councilmember Kirsten Buscher <br />Councilmember Michael Olson <br />Councilmember Eric Peters <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br />Councilmember Shanna Stewart <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Brian Hagen <br /> Community Development Director Stephanie Hanson <br /> Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br /> City Attorney Amanda Johnson <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Heineman called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Heineman. <br />2. APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Stewart, to approve the agenda as <br />amended, removing cases 4, 5, and 6 from the agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Heineman asked if Councilmember Riley would like to explain why he requested the <br />removal. <br /> <br />Councilmember Riley indicated he did not. <br /> <br />Mayor Heineman explained that he would not support removing Items 4, 5, and 6 from the agenda <br />because they constituted city council business and had been properly submitted in accordance with <br />city procedures. He indicated that two councilmembers brought the items forward in accordance <br />with scheduling requirements and that the matters were important enough to remain on the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Buscher, Peters, Riley, and Stewart.
