<br />Mayor Heineman asked whether any councilmembers wished to respond to questions <br />raised during citizen input and indicated he planned to continue most discussions with <br />residents individually following the meeting. He encouraged attendees to remain for the <br />remainder of the meeting and explained that the Council had researched the issues <br />originally on the agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Heineman also responded to comments suggesting the Council should focus solely <br />on City matters, explaining that the City regularly handles a significant workload while <br />still addressing broader concerns raised by residents. He referenced approximately 470 <br />cases the City had worked on during his time as Mayor and stated that the Council was <br />capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. He reminded attendees that <br />post-meeting conversations would need to occur individually to comply with open meeting <br />law requirements and avoid improper Council deliberations outside public meetings. <br />5.
