Utilities Seasonal Lead Salary: $24.81 Hourly Closing Date: Open Until Filled Join the City of Ramsey's Public Works team and help support essential water and sewer services that keep our community healthy and running smoothly. As a Utilities Seasonal Lead, you'll take on a hands-on leadership role supporting daily water and sanitary sewer operations throughout the spring, summer, and fall. This position helps guide seasonal utility staffwhile working side -by -side on hydrant flushing, valve exercising, meter support, utility site maintenance, facility repairs, and emergency response support when needed. It's a great opportunity to build leadership experience while making a meaningful impact in the community. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) • Valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record • Ability to work full-time, Monday —Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., spring through fall • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding work • Ability to pass a criminal background check, driver's license check, pre -employment physical, and drug screening Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience working for a municipality or county • Previous paid experience in utilities, public works, construction, or maintenance • Possession of a valid Minnesota Class A and/or Class B CDL with air brake and/or tanker endorsements • Coursework or experience related to water or wastewater systems Questions re • arding any City recruitment should be directed to nlaubach@cityoframsey.com. It will enable faster wireless alerts during emergencies, such as hazardous traffic, road conditions, boil - water advisories, gas leaks, or evacuation notices.
