The Tinklenberg Group The interehanqe of strateqies and solutions City of Ramsey Consulting Services - 2007 Proposed Work Plan The Tinklenberg Group has worked on a variety of planning and development related activities for the City of Ramsey for the past four years. Currently these activities include right-of-way acquisition utilizing the RALF program, working toward inclusion of the Ramsey park-and-ride as part of the Northstar Commuter Rail service, and completion of the TH 10 Access Management Plan. The Tinklenberg Group has become a trusted source for information among members of the community and business owners along the TH 10 corridor. In 2007, these activities remain underway, more specifically The Tinklenberg Group proposes to continue the following tasks: Trunk HiQhwav ,10 · Continue working with property owners along the TH10 corridor relative to right-of-way acquisition (RALF). (There are fewer funds available than in 2006, therefore further prioritization discussions should be considered; The Tinklenberg Group would be available if staff and/or city council wish to review prior acquisitions, the list of parties interested in selling, etc.) · Serve as a liaison on behalf of the City to provide information to the general public and interested parties relative to transportation improvements along TH10 and right-of-way acquisition processes. Commuter Rail Station - Park and Ride ( · Continue efforts to promote the City of Ramsey park-and-ride facility and transit services to work toward inclusion of a Ramsey station in the Northstar Commuter Rail service. · Work with staff to set up a tour of the park-and-ride facility, Town Center and other development projects and TH10 for Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. . Provide support and produce materials necessary to promote and advocate for the Ramsey Commuter Rail station. 1
