Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-140 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR PAVEMENT EVALUATION OF ANDRIE <br />STREET AND 164'H LANE <br />WHEREAS, Andrie Street and 164th Lane between Alpine Drive and Jarvis Street was <br />reconstructed in 2016 as Improvement Project 16-00 Division C; and <br />WHEREAS, pavement distress not typically associated with streets of this age and design strength <br />have been observed; and <br />WHEREAS, a proposal was received from American Engineering Testing for forensic evaluation <br />of the pavement to understand possible causes of distresses and provide recommendations for potential <br />repair solutions for the lump sum total of $10,700.00; and <br />WHEREAS, staff will use the pavement evaluation to assist with determining proper repair <br />activities for said streets. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with American <br />Engineering Testing for said pavement evaluation services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th <br />day of June, 2026. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
