Proposal for Pavement Evaluation Andrie St and 164th Ln, Ramsey, MN June 3, 2026 AET Proposal No. P-0053287 AMERICAN ENGINEERING TESTING 2.5 Report Following the field and laboratory services, we will prepare a geotechnical report with our findings. This report will include soil boring location figures, subsurface boring logs, pavement core logs, laboratory soil test results, descriptions of drilling, sampling, testing, and classifications methods, as well as our geotechnical engineering opinions and recommendations regarding the following: • A summary of the encountered pavement and aggregate base thickness from cores, hand auger borings, and GPR • A review of the soil and groundwater conditions encountered and pertinent engineering properties of the existing subgrade soils • A discussion of the observed pavement conditions, asphalt lab testing results, and our opinion of possible causes of the distresses observed by the City • Recommendations for maintenance or repair of the roadways To complete our report, we request that the City provide any documentation they have for the project including results from mix verification testing and pavement and soil density testing from construction. Following review of a draft report and your comments, we will prepare and submit a final report. 3.0 SCHEDULE Based on our current backlog and weather permitting, the field exploration for GPR can be completed within about two weeks following authorization, with coring and hand auger borings about two weeks later, followed by soil and asphalt laboratory testing and reporting. The GPR testing will be completed in less than one day. The cores and hand auger borings will be completed in about one day. We can submit a draft report within two to three weeks of the completion of our fieldwork, with the goal of submitting it by the end of July 2026, assuming we authorized as proposed by the City. 4.0 FEES The scope of services described above will be performed on a lump sum basis according to the breakdown below. 4.0 Geotechnical Base Scope 1. GPR and Analysis $ 1,860 2. Cores, DCPs and Hand Auger Borings $ 2,610 3. Soil Laboratory Logging & Testing $ 450 4. Asphalt Laboratory Testing $ 1,710 5. Project Management & Reporting $ 4,070 Total $ 10,700 In the event the scope of our services needs to be revised, we will review such scope adjustments and the associated fees with you and receive your approval before proceeding.
