Proposal for Pavement Evaluation <br />Andrie St and 164th Ln, Ramsey, MN <br />June 3, 2026 <br />AET Proposal No. P-0053287 <br />AMERICAN <br />ENGINEERING TESTING <br />2.5 Report <br />Following the field and laboratory services, we will prepare a geotechnical report with our findings. This <br />report will include soil boring location figures, subsurface boring logs, pavement core logs, laboratory <br />soil test results, descriptions of drilling, sampling, testing, and classifications methods, as well as our <br />geotechnical engineering opinions and recommendations regarding the following: <br />• A summary of the encountered pavement and aggregate base thickness from cores, hand <br />auger borings, and GPR <br />• A review of the soil and groundwater conditions encountered and pertinent engineering <br />properties of the existing subgrade soils <br />• A discussion of the observed pavement conditions, asphalt lab testing results, and our opinion <br />of possible causes of the distresses observed by the City <br />• Recommendations for maintenance or repair of the roadways <br />To complete our report, we request that the City provide any documentation they have for the project <br />including results from mix verification testing and pavement and soil density testing from construction. <br />Following review of a draft report and your comments, we will prepare and submit a final report. <br />3.0 SCHEDULE <br />Based on our current backlog and weather permitting, the field exploration for GPR can be completed <br />within about two weeks following authorization, with coring and hand auger borings about two weeks <br />later, followed by soil and asphalt laboratory testing and reporting. <br />The GPR testing will be completed in less than one day. The cores and hand auger borings will be <br />completed in about one day. <br />We can submit a draft report within two to three weeks of the completion of our fieldwork, with the goal <br />of submitting it by the end of July 2026, assuming we authorized as proposed by the City. <br />4.0 FEES <br />The scope of services described above will be performed on a lump sum basis according to the <br />breakdown below. <br />4.0 Geotechnical Base Scope <br />1. GPR and Analysis $ 1,860 <br />2. Cores, DCPs and Hand Auger Borings $ 2,610 <br />3. Soil Laboratory Logging & Testing $ 450 <br />4. Asphalt Laboratory Testing $ 1,710 <br />5.
