Councilmember Peters introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #26-140 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR PAVEMENT EVALUATION OF <br />TH <br />ANDRIE STREET AND 164 LANE <br /> <br />th <br />WHEREAS, Andrie Street and 164 Lane between Alpine Drive and Jarvis Street was <br />reconstructed in 2016 as Improvement Project 16-00 Division C; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pavement distress not typically associated with streets of this age and design <br />strength have been observed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a proposal was received from American Engineering Testing for forensic <br />evaluation of the pavement to understand possible causes of distresses and provide <br />recommendations for potential repair solutions for the lump sum total of $10,700.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff will use the pavement evaluation to assist with determining proper <br />repair activities for said streets. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />American Engineering Testing for said pavement evaluation services for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br />
