been talk about possible redevelopment and roads, but no further discussion has taken place on <br />that. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt indicated that it is apparent they are not going to resolve this tonight, and he <br />would like staff to make a list of the errors on the maps. <br /> <br />Principal Plarmer Trudgeon clarified that the road issue raised by Ms. Tersteeg is different than <br />the Comprehensive Plan changes. <br /> <br />A short recess was called at 9:53 p.m. Chairperson Nixt reconvened the meeting at 9:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Mandy Jensen, 6211 Rivlyn Avenue, asked what her lot is zoned today. <br /> <br />Principal Plam-~er Trudgeon indicated today it is single-family RI, however the Comprehensive <br />Plan shows it as industrial. <br /> <br />Ms. Jensen asked what the next step will be. <br /> <br />Principal Platmer Trudgeon indicated the City does not have any plans at this time, but there have <br />been discussions that this may be an area for redevelopment in the future. ' ' <br /> <br />Francis Welte, 16051 Alpine Street, stated she was here concerning her property as abusiness ......... <br />She stated they are grandfathered now, and if the City is re-zoning everything between Hwy 10 . . <br />and the railroad track to B2, why are they not re-zoning her property to make it conforming. <br /> <br />Consultant Gordon stated this was-a good point, and he thi~tks they should take it under <br />advisement. <br /> <br />Mr. Hanson indicated there are many uses not listed anywhere; theatres and performance arts <br />establishments, video rental stores, to name a few. He asked that staff review the list. He stated <br />his other issue was on the public hem'hag. Since the information sent to the public was incon'ect, <br />the City will need to send out another map and hold another public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Reeve, to close the public hearing at <br />10:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion can'ied. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Reeve, Brauer, Van Scoy and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Jolmson and Shepherd. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt suggested identifying areas on the map with an error or omission and re- <br />notiCing property owners within 700 feet.of those areas. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt moved to retract the motion to close the public hearing, and moved to continue <br />the public hearing.
