Such notice shall describe the kind of tree, shrub, or other plant or plant part <br />which has beert declared to be a public nuisance; its location on the property; <br />the reason for declaring it a nuisance; <br /> <br />I'). <br /> <br />Proper disposal procedures of wood, bark and debris fi'om said nuisance slmll <br />be detailed in said notice. These disposal procedures shall be followed within <br />the time provided in the notice. <br /> <br />c. Tile notice of violation shall state the specific violation and indicate whether <br /> immediate enforcernent will be sought or if thirty (30) days will be allowed to <br /> correct and'ten-love the violation. <br /> <br />cl. If the owner of the property to whom an order has been issued fails or refuses <br /> to take remedial action in accordance with and within the time specified in an <br /> orcler, the City of' Ramsey or its designate(s) shall cause the remedial action so <br /> ordered to be performed at the expense ol?the owner. <br /> <br />1. This shall include trees.and <br />shrubs harboring injurious insects or pathogens that may cause significant potential danger to the <br />community [bt'est. <br /> <br />Tine City of Ramsey or its designate(s) may remove or cause or 6rder to be <br />removed, any tree or part thereof which is in an unsafe condition or which by <br />reason of'its nature is injurious to sewers, electric power lines, gas tines, water <br />lines, or other public improvements, or is infected with Oak Wilt or Dutch <br />Elm disease. _ <br /> <br />b. No person shall store or permit the accumulation of any uncovered, gt'een ehn <br /> or pine wood itl the City between April 15m and October 15th. <br /> <br />All trees within the City infected with Dutch Elm Disease or Oak Wilt shall be <br />removecl fi'om their sites and destroyed or utilized in such a way that meets <br />with recognizecl disease control measures. The cost of removing elm trees <br />infectecl with the Dutch Elm Disease, on private property, shall be borne by <br />the property owner. <br /> <br />An evalnation of "imminent danger" means that the hazard to the public is <br />immediate. [f the property owner cannot be contacted or re'fl,tses to remove the <br />hazard, the City will initiate action immediately. <br /> <br />An evaluation of "pote. ntially dangerous" means that a hazard tO the public <br />will exist in the near fdture.
