Soft Permeability - is the quality of the soil that permits water or air to <br />pass through it; it is expressed as the time in minutes required to pass one (I) inch of <br />water through a saturated cross-sect/on of soil; it is determined .by field test procedures <br />outlined in the City Sewage Disposal Chapter. <br /> <br /> Soft Permeability - Moderately - are soils having percolation rates of <br />thirty (30) minutes per inch to 60 minutes per inch. <br /> <br /> Soil Permeability - Rapidly - are soils having percolation of less than <br />thirty (3 0) minutes per inch. <br /> <br /> Soil Permeability -S[owly - are soils having percolat/on rates in excess <br />of sixty (60) rrdnutes per inch.. <br /> <br /> Soil Survey - is the syStemized study of soils, including the study of <br />morphological soil characteristics, soil behavior and the c[asMficafion of soils into <br />defined types and other classification units, soil mapping to show the boundaries of soils <br />and theft' geograph/c distribution and the prediction of their behavior for specific uses or <br />management systems as defined by Standard Soil Survey,, USDA. <br /> <br />Water Table - is the uppermost part of the soil that is wholly saturated <br /> <br />with water. <br /> <br />9.13.03 Land Cl~tsses <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1.
