The compliment of trees fulfilling the landscaping <br />requirements shall not be less than 25 percent deciduous <br />and lot less than 25 percent coniferous. No more than 25% <br />of the required plantings shall consist of ornamental trees. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />One overstory tree shall be planted every 35 feet in the <br />boulevard alon~ eve~3' street fl'ontaae. The number of <br />overstorv trees needed for boulevard plm~tings may be <br />deducted from the overstory tree requirement in (ii) above. <br /> <br />v. Grading. <br /> <br />Final slope grades shall not exceed 3.5:1 unless terracing <br />of retaining walls are approved. <br /> <br />Berming for parking lots and open space areas shall not <br />exceed 3:1. <br /> <br />vi. Sodding and Ground Cover. All areas not other wise improved <br /> in accordance with approved site plans shall be sodded. <br /> <br />vii. Irrigation. <br /> <br />All landscaping areas required under this section shall <br />include underground irrigation systems. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Exceptions include landscape areas that are let~ in a <br />natural state. <br /> <br />Parking Lot Landscaping. All parking lots are required to provide <br />internal overstory tree plantings in an effort to shade parking surfaces <br />and provide visual relief. Plantings are required at the following <br />minimum schedule. The planting schedule is established to provide an <br />acceptable number of plantings that may be planted in regular <br />symmetrical patterns or irregular clusters or groupings. - <br /> <br />i. 1 tree per every 10 parking spaces. <br /> <br />ii. Every overstory tree planting shall be provided with a planting <br /> area of 162 square feet. <br /> <br />111. <br /> <br />AcceptableJground cover materials include sod, mulch, and other <br />natural ground cover. Landscaping rock and plastic <br />underlayment is not allowed. <br /> <br />iv. All parking lot planting areas shall include underground <br /> irrigation systems. <br /> <br />Bufferyards.
