2) Appreciation of Donation from ACE Solid Waste for City of Ramsey Parks <br /> <br />Juli¢ Rosenberg, Customer Service Manager for Ace Solid Waste, explained that for every net <br />new customer ACE Solid Waste has in the year they donate $5.00 to the city's park department. <br />A donation of $565.00 was given to the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec accepted the donation on behalf of the City Council. <br /> <br />3) 2002 Annual Report <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that each year the Mayor is required to present a 2002 annual report, Which <br />is available in its entirety at City Hall. Mr. Gamec briefly reviewed the 2002 Annual Report <br />noting that the City Council increased its members to seven, City Hall was renovated, the City's <br />new web page was launched, the City approved 13 new residential plats and two industrial parks, <br />and purchased a new aerial ladder truck. He stated that even with State budget problems, the <br />fitture looks bright for Ramsey. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to approve the agenda. <br /> <br />lVlotion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak noted that she possibly had a conflict of interest with item #6 so she was <br />not comfortable voting on it. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that they could handle #6 separately. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve the following <br />items on the Consent Agenda, excluding consent item #6. <br /> <br />City Council/March 25, 2003 <br /> Page 3 of 16 <br /> <br />P41 <br /> <br /> <br />
