Councilmember Kurak noted that the City has an entire section in a moratorium because of that <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that if the moratorium expires on the property, the City <br />cannot stop the property from being developed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted that without the EIS the City would not have the ability of <br />officially mapping the property either. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson replied that the City might have the opportunity to officially map <br />the property since a considerable amount of enviromnental review has been completed, but that is <br />something they will have to research after the scoping document is completed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired as to what happens if the property is not utilized for the bridge <br />crossing and it is officially mapped. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson replied that there is a fair amount of risk with officially mapping <br />the property, but what staff has been told by MnDOT is that they know where the alignment will <br />be. <br /> <br />3) Jarvis Street <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson inquired if staff had contacted the City of Elk River regarding their <br />fi~ture plans for a westerly road near Jarvis Street. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that he would follow up with the Council on that issue. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by .Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adjourn the <br />regular meeting of the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Nanci Libor <br />Recording Secretary <br />TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc. <br /> <br />James E.
