P58 <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number 1[, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Zimmerman to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ed Hamilton, 6615 Highway #10 NW, Ramsey, stated that he wanted to go on record noting that <br />he has never turned down money offered to him by Commercial Asphalt. He stated that <br />Commercial Asphalt has never made any offers to him. Mr. Hamilton also inquired as to why it <br />is taking so long to get City Council minutes on the internet. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed Mr. Hamilton to contact City staff in regards to the meeting minutes. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman.
