I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br />I <br /> I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that staff research the possibility of the City taking over Blue Velvet <br />Lane. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Update on C.R. #116 Corridor Study <br />The Public Works Committee recommended that the City Council enter into an <br />agreement with SRF, Inc. to provide a public involvement program for the C.R. #116 <br />corridor study at a cost not to exceed $3,150. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to direct staff to <br />enter into an agreement with SRF, Inc. to provide a public involvement program for the C.R. <br />#116 corridor study at a cost not to exceed $3,150. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Pearson, Elvig, <br />Cook, Kurak, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Update on Feasibility Study for the Improvement of Unpaved Streets <br />The action was tabled to the next Public Works Committee meeting and staff was <br />directed to bring the study back and identify a source of funding for the subsidy along <br />with the costs included in the feasibility study for the hybrid option. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Request for Functional Classification Changes for County Roads <br />The Public Works Committee recommended that the City Council direct staff to prepare a <br />resolution in support of the proposed changes to the functional classification requested by <br />Anoka County. The resolution was presented for Council consideration. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-04-083 supporting the proposed changes to the functional classification requested by Anoka <br />County. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Zimmerman, Elvig, Cook, <br />Kurak, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that there has been some discussion about the County turning C.R. #63 over <br />to a City road and upgrading the road. He requested that the Public Works Committee research <br />that issue further. <br /> <br />Case #9: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />The Finance Committee met on April 8, 2003 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />City Council/April 8, 2003 <br /> Page 13 of 17 <br /> <br />P69 <br /> <br /> <br />
