4O Commissioner Von Scoy asked if the final plat for minor or major subdivisions were brought back to the Pl. anning Commission. Principal Planner Trudgeon noted the final plat was not brought back to the planning Commission but was approved by Council and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. Vice Chairperson Reeve questioned the review of variances within the subdivision portion of the Ordinance. Mr. Oordon stated he would review this section and bring it back at the next meeting. Commissioner Brauer noted multi-family developments have been popular as of late and stated he feels the economics behind this drives more' multi-family developments than single-family homes. He suggested raising the multi-family park dedication requirements a couple percent to create more recreational opportunities in the community. Principal Planner Trudgeon suggested this be increased from 12% to 15% of land to be dedicated for 3.1-5 units per acre. The Planning Commission ageed. Vice Chairperson Reeve noted the Ordinance would be revised per the above comments and the first public hearing would be held on April 3, 2003. Case #4: Review Commissioner Interview Questions Associate Planner Wald noted a copy of questions utilized when interviewing applicants for the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment. In accordance with a request from City Council, Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson has requested that the Planning Commission review the enclosed interview questions. The City Council is interested in determining more appropriate and commission specific questions asked when interviewing for the Planning Commission. She asked the Commissioners to forward comments and/or suggestions to City Staff via email or fax. She noted she would then forward this information on to the City Administrator.
