I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution 'and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-02- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR OUTSIDE STORAGE <br />OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT, PERFORM MECHANICAL <br />WORK, AND STORE EXCESS CONSTRUCTION PRODUCT ON A RESIDENTIALLY <br />ZONED PARCEL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Gerald Bauer, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly apptied to <br />the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit to allow for commercial vehicles and <br />equipment to be stored outdoors, perform mechanical work on commercial vehicles-and <br />equipment, and periodically store excess construction/paving material on the property generally <br />known as 16130 Variolite Street and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter in Section 16, Township 32, Range 25,. Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on February 6, 2003, and that the <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That on January 22, 2003, the Applicant submitted a request for an interim use permit to <br />allow for outside storage on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential and the.surrounding parcels are zoned <br />R-1 Residential. <br /> <br />4) That the Subject Property is approximately 40 acres in' size. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />That the Applicant owns and operates Ramsey Shooting Center LLC located on the <br />Subject Property and Ramsey Shooting Center LLC is an existing legal non-conforming <br />business. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />That the Applicant is leasing a portion of the Subject Property to Able paving & <br />Construction, who is utilizing a portion of the Subject Property for outdoor storage of <br />commercial vehicles and equipment, storage of clean excess product, and performing <br />mechanical work on the vehicles and equipment on the Subject- Property. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />That Able Paving & Construction utilizes the commercial vehicles' and equipment for <br />their business operation from 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday thru Saturday. <br /> <br />8) That the proposed use is not a permitted use within the R-1 Residential District. <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br /> <br />
