Councilmember introduced the following res°lution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-11- I I I I I I I i I I I I I A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME ·OCCUPATION PERMIT TO ESTABLISH AN IN HOME HAIR SALON ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6210 179IIt LANE NW BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT Fact # WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution # adopting Findings of __ for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: - On November __., 2002 a Home Occupation Permit (,'Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey ("City") to Pamela Boshea ("Permit Holder") for a home occupation to establish a one chair hair salon in the dwelling on the property generally known as 6210 179th Lane and legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 5, Rodeo Hills Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property:") This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a one chair hair salon on the Subject Property. Should the Permit~ee die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be automatically terminated, except that in the case of death, should a Surviving spouse or child, residing at the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the Permit without further hearing. . The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total floor area of the private dwelling. Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the Permit Holder. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder There shall be no exterior or interior display of business signs.
