Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt <br />Resolution #02-09-244 through #02-09-248 adopting assessments for Improvement Projects #02- <br />06 through #02:10. <br /> <br />P82 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Public Hearing and Levy of Assessments for Past-Due Charges on Municipal <br /> Utility Bills and Current Services Rendered <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 8:10 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called-the public hearing to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund stated that the City of Ramsey provides varying services that are billed <br />directly to residents through the municipal utility bill, via Connexus Energy, and through <br />invoices. During 1994, the City passed Ordinance #94-13, which allows for the certification of <br />payments for current services that are delinquent as of September 1 of each year. The total, of <br />delinquent payments is $17,095.53, which includes penalties and interest. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman.
