He expl~ned ~at the site includes a pastured ~ea, and ~o small wetl~ds on ~e <br />site, which are both, less :.than 4/10ths of an acre. ~e Wpe of vegetation su~ounding those <br />wetlands are canau gass, w~ch is not conducive to Blanding's ~le habitm. If by chance they <br />were to find a'Blanding'sm~le on ~e site they would follow ~e DNR ~idelines. ~e wetlands <br />will not be destroyed as pan of the development, in hct they will be add~g sediment ponds. <br />They will be pl.~ting additional ~ees t~oughout the site. ~e wetl~d where the tm~ sewer <br />will be constructed will be brought back to its ofi~nal condition. ~e wildlife ~ the area is <br />adaptable to urban development. ~e water qualiW will be improved by adding two sediment <br />ponds and the reduction of pasture and on-site systems.
