ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #02 , which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />Section 9.20.1'2. (3), R-2 'Residential District, has been modified to allow for multifamily <br />dwellings with up to 16 units per structure as a conditional use permit in the R-2 Zoning District <br />as long as they meet certain 'design criteria. These design criteria include the provision of <br />elevators and underground parking for residents,-high quality architectural and exterior mater/al <br />requirements, landscape siting requirements, direct entrances from each individual unit to the <br />outside, restricting the height of the multi-unit structures to current ordinances regarding height, <br />the requirement of screening when abutting lower density areas, the provision of additional open <br />space, and capping the maximum number of units per structure to 16. <br /> <br />82 <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
