Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #26-145 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2026 <br />PAVEMENT SKIM PATCHING, MAINTENANCE PROJECT #26-53 <br />WHEREAS, numerous public streets in the City of Ramsey require pavement patching; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a total of 3.36 miles of public streets are recommended for skim patching in <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2026 including $650,000 to <br />maintain bituminous pavement on numerous public street segments in support of the City's <br />Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #26-101 adopted May 12, 2026, <br />the City Council approved plans and specifications and authorized advertisements for bids for <br />Maintenance Project #26-53, 2026 Pavement Skim Patching; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka County Union Herald on Friday May 15, <br />and Friday May 22, 2026; and <br />WHEREAS, five (5) bids were received, opened and tabulated on June 15, 2026, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement <br />for bids; and <br />Contractor Bid <br />North Valley, Inc $243,173.74 <br />Hanson Paving $282,149.54 <br />Diversified Paving $306,310.03 <br />Asphalt Surface Technology Corp. $353,447.82 <br />GMH Asphalt Corporation $358,409.65 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $243,173.74 for the total bid <br />for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications <br />and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is <br />accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />
