CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />5. 13. <br />06/23/2026 <br />Identify and implement operational efficiencies, cost savings and additional <br />funding sources. <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #26-153 Identifying Funding Need for 2050 Comp Plan Update <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The Metropolitan Council adopted a need -based eligibility criteria for awarding available local planning <br />assistance grant funds and established maximum grant amounts, including bonus incentives grants, for eligible <br />grantees to help grantees review and update their comprehensive plans as required by the "decennial" review <br />provisions of Minnesota Statutes section 473.864, subdivision 2.
