I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE #: ] <br /> <br />CHAPTER 9 RESIDENTIAL ZONING DIST.RICT AMENDMENTS <br /> By: Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On December 18, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted the March 2001 Draft Comprehensive <br />Plan As a result, the City has been updating Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivision Chapter) to be <br />consistent with new Comprehensive Plan. A Chapter 9 subcommittee, comprised of the City <br />Council and Planning Commission, has been meeting since February 2002 reviewing' language <br />changes. At this time, City staff is bringing forward the residential zoning district regulations for <br />consideration and public hearing. Along with text amendments, a new residential zoning map will <br />need to be considered. <br /> <br />The following 'items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br />~) <br /> <br />Proposed R-I Residential Zo .ning District <br />Proposed R-2 Residential Zoning District <br />Proposed R-3 Residential Zoning District <br />Proposed Planned Unit Development District <br />Proposed Residential Zoning District Map (to be provided at meeting) <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission will need to conduct a public hearing on the proPosed language and map <br />changes. The City of Ramsey has sent a mailing to all Ramsey residents notifying them of the <br />public hearing. The City's consultant from Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc, Loren Gordon, will be <br />present to review the proposed residential zoning districts.
