Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #' AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN SIZE RESTRICTIONS ESTABLISHED IN .CITY CODE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bob. Muller, of Rum River Plaza, properly applied for a conditional use <br />permit to exceed pylon sign size established in City Code on the Property generally known as <br /> 5923 - 167~' Avenue and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The north 426.29 feet as measured along the west line of that part of the Southwest <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter bf Section, I 1; Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, lying westerly of the center line of State Highway No. 47. <br />Subject to road easements over ire:North and East 33 feet. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />conducted the public <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on May 2, 2002, <br />hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact # ., a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed pylon sign <br /> size is hereby granted to Bob Muller ("Permit-tee"). <br /> <br />2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to expand the existing pylon sign located on the <br /> SubjeCt Property by 45 square feet per sign side. <br /> <br />3. The aggregate size of the freestanding pylon sign may not exceed an aggregate size of 290 <br /> square feet. ~ <br /> <br />4. The freestanding pylon sign may not exceed the 25-foot height restriction. <br /> <br />5. The installation of the ground sign on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from <br /> the City of Ramsey. .. <br /> <br />6. The sign shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with Section 9.12 <br /> (Signs) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />7. That the Permit-tee shall be responsible for all City costS, incurred in administering and <br /> enforcing this Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />8. That the City Administrator, or his/her designee, shall have the right to inspect the premises <br /> for compliance and safety purposes annually or at any time, upon reasonable request. <br /> <br /> <br />
